Good quality synthetic butyl rubber, good flexibility, and resistance to compression deformation. Available for sealing or resealing car headlights, windshield, headlamp, air conditioners. Easy to cut to fit your need. Simply release the sealant from paper and press it sufficiently around the pinch weld. Can effectively keep out the wind, prevent water leakage and lower the noise outside the car. After removing the headlamp cover or windshield, the pinch weld areas should be dry, clean, free from dust, oil, and grease. Release the sealant from the release paper and press it sufficiently around the pinch weld for complete contact. When properly positioned, the tape should be continuously attached to the pinch weld before you seal it with the other coupling part. The purpose of the sealer is to provide for a watertight seal. In cold weather conditions, it needs to warm the tape prior to attempting the installation, as this will soften the tape allowing for better workability. The good using temperature is 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. It gets stickier as it gets warmer. So please keep it away from sunshine in the coming summer, or if you are working in the colder temps a hairdryer can be helpful.
